Virtual Medical Scribe - Remote

Overview

The scribe performs medical record documentation and clerical duties to increase provider effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for improved patient flow and satisfaction.

In Short

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts.
• Virtually enter the patient room with the physician during visits.
• Update all components of the patient's medical record.
• Send documentation to physician for review and approval.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to monitor lab results.
• Ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
• Support compliance with hospital and ProScribe policies.
• Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations.
• Perform clerical duties to improve provider productivity.
• Adhere to attendance policies at assigned facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Availability for part-time or full-time shifts as specified.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Must have a personal computer and high-speed internet.
• Residency in a state approved for virtual work with ProScribe.
