Overview

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care in the Emergency Department at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, providing critical care and support to patients in a fast-paced environment.

• Full-time position in the Emergency Department.
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Virginia or Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within one year of hire.
• Experience in Critical Care/IMCU preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity environment.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
