Project Manager - Sourcing and Product Development - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead our sourcing initiatives on various categories including primary packaging, secondary packaging, and off-the-shelf. We are looking for a candidate who is obsessed with product, brand, and packaging, and always has the end-customer experience in mind. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and strategic problem solver who can manage vendor negotiations, streamline operations, and collaborate with internal teams to bring high-quality products to market efficiently. This role will ensure that our supply base is capable of supporting business growth while delivering on service, quality, and cost objectives.

In Short

• Lead the development of project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables and resource plans.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for product development calendars.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Brand Marketing and Supply Chain leadership.
• Lead the execution of new product launches and process improvements.
• Implement project management best practices.
• Communicate product development status to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure development KPIs are set and reported on regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years managing projects in Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG).
• 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management.
• Manufacturing background in CPG space.
• Experience in vendor management and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organization and project management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with project management tools and Google Suite.
