Finance Associate - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Associate to support the financial operations of a growing network of restaurant merchants. This role will involve managing complex partner relationships, handling bespoke deal terms, consolidating corporate expenses, preparing sales tax transactional data, and supporting key accounting and bookkeeping functions. The ideal candidate is organized, has strong analytical skills, and is proficient in both Google Sheets and Excel for the organization and analysis of financial data.

In Short

• Manage and execute payments to over 400 restaurant & retail merchants.
• Oversee and consolidate corporate card expenses.
• Prepare and vet transactional CSV uploads for sales tax filing.
• Support general accounting tasks and ensure financial records are accurate.
• Extensive experience with Google Sheets and Excel for financial tracking.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decisions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in financial analysis.
• Familiarity with sales tax processes; experience with TaxJar preferred.
