Overview

ProgenyHealth is seeking a Part-Time Lactation Consultant (IBCLC Certified) to provide expert guidance and education on breastfeeding, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and their infants.

In Short

• Provide virtual lactation consultations.
• Offer evidence-based advice on breastfeeding techniques.
• Educate mothers on proper breastfeeding practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of breastfeeding trends.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately.
• IBCLC certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in lactation support.
• Strong communication skills and passion for supporting families.
• Experience in virtual care or telehealth services is a plus.
• Must have good computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Experience with telephony applications and software required.
• Must demonstrate accuracy in spelling and documentation.
