Senior Contract Specialist - Remote

Overview

ProVets is exploring the need to fill a Senior Contract Specialist position to support potential and current government clients. This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with strong communication and organizational abilities to contribute to impactful government contracting efforts. Duties involve a wide range of contracting support from pre-award to post-award contract management. This will most likely be a 100% remote work position, however, there will be occasional visits to the client location in Maryland, so candidates must be local to the DMV area.

In Short

• Support government clients in contracting efforts.
• Manage pre-award and post-award contract functions.
• Coordinate with Program Owners and Contracting Officers.
• Conduct market research and draft proposals.
• Track milestones for timely acquisition package submissions.
• Administer contracts and manage modifications.
• Provide advice on acquisition strategies.
• Utilize PRISM and STRIPES for contract management.
• Work in a remote setting with occasional client visits.
• Minimum of 8 years of federal contracting experience required.

Requirements

• 8+ years of federal acquisition and contracting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition methods and regulations.
• Experience with IT purchasing and cost analysis.
• PRISM and/or STRIPES experience required.
