Overview

The Finance Director (gender-neutral) at Proemion plays a key role in managing the company's financial performance and works closely with management and the leadership team.

In Short

• Overall responsibility for financial processes including planning, reporting, annual financial statements (HGB), and liquidity management.
• Development and optimization of financial structures, processes, and systems.
• Financial evaluation of investments and support for M&A projects.
• Act as a sparring partner for the Group CFO in economic, financial, and tax matters.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of about 8 people.

Requirements

• Completed degree in economics with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling.
• Several years of professional experience in a leadership position in finance, ideally in the international software/technology sector.
• In-depth knowledge of HGB and experience with annual financial statements, budget planning, and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Leadership skills and strong communication with stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of common ERP systems (SAP) and BI/planning tools (e.g., Power BI, LucaNet, Tableau).
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
