Senior QA Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Senior QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through comprehensive testing strategies and execution.

In Short

• Demonstrated working knowledge of modern software development lifecycles
• Experience testing GUI applications, web services and/or web applications (backend and frontend)
• Proficient in backend testing including writing SQL queries for testing data integrity
• Develops Test Approach, Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases based on requirements
• Analyzes requirements, coordinates with BA’s / Subject Matter Experts
• Identifies test conditions and/or creates test cases
• Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans
• Creates/conditions test data for test execution
• Provides test execution summary/updates
• Participates in peer reviews, testing process improvements, and other testing related activities

Requirements

• Execute Manual Tests, also ability to Update/Maintain and execute automated tests scripts
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve bugs and issues during the software development lifecycle
• Generate and deliver detailed test reports to stakeholders, summarizing results and providing actionable recommendations
• Validates release notes
• Identifies and reports risks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience
