Care Advice Line RN I - Remote

Overview

The Care Advice Line RN I position involves providing on-demand telephone-based care management services through a 24/7 Nurse Advice Line, aimed at improving patient care and reducing unnecessary visits to clinics and emergency departments.

• Provide compassionate and informed triage to patients and caregivers via telephone.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare providers to assess and implement patient care plans.
• Record and maintain accurate patient data in medical record systems.
• Research information to provide appropriate triage and care advice.
• Assist members with medical and wellness-related issues through coaching.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Accept feedback and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other care management activities as assigned.
• Must have strong computer and tech skills.

Requirements

• 1+ years of RN experience in primary or pediatric care.
• Associate's degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Compact Resident RN in good standing.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Able to work in a quiet home office environment.
• Willingness to obtain BSN within 24 months.
• Availability for 10-30 hours per week, including weekends.
