Overview

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager at Privia Health is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate claim processing, and resolving any issues that arise.

In Short

• Manage accounts receivable and analyze aged AR.
• Handle denial management and appeal processes.
• Make independent decisions on claims adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and care center staff.
• Support large care center go-lives, including travel.
• Work with the Revenue Optimization team on reimbursement.
• Engage with practice consultants to enhance revenue cycle functionality.
• Drive achievement of departmental KPIs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate.
• 3+ years in a physician medical billing office.
• Experience with major payers like Anthem, Medicare/Medicaid.
• Athena EHR experience required.
• Behavioral Health billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle performance drivers.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• HIPAA compliance understanding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
