As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at PrivateID, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of innovative identity verification solutions.

In Short

Design and maintain automated tests for APIs, web, and mobile platforms.
Collaborate with engineering teams on testing strategies and CI/CD integration.
Conduct code reviews and analyze test results for continuous improvement.
Maintain test environments and optimize automation scripts.
Participate in release planning and quality gates for stability.
Champion best practices in automation and security testing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
Understanding of CI/CD and integration of automated testing.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with performance and security testing tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
