Underwriter/Senior Underwriter - Remote

Overview

As a member of our Private Client Select underwriting team, you will focus on underwriting personal lines Property & Casualty products for high net-worth individuals in the US.

In Short

• Underwrite a book of large accounts and complex risks.
• Evaluate submissions for completeness and rate adequacy.
• Identify risk exposures and analyze claims.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines to minimize exposure.
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners.
• Meet business and renewal retention goals.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Document underwriting files accordingly.
• Engage in marketing projects to improve company results.
• Optimize new business growth through marketing strategies.

Requirements

• 2-7 years of Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance underwriting experience.
• Property & Casualty Licensure required or willingness to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting concepts and practices.
• Analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
• Highly motivated and results-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
