Porch Group is a leading vertical software and insurance platform looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a global team in enhancing configuration processes and collaboration across departments.

In Short

• Lead and grow a global team of configuration engineers.
• Design and implement repeatable execution patterns.
• Establish KPIs and SLAs to track performance and quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Actuarial, and Underwriting teams.
• Champion AI-assisted tools for process improvement.

• Manage documentation and knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a management role.
• Proven track record in configuration or policy-admin contexts.
• Experience with insurance PAS systems, especially BrightCore.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work with distributed teams across time zones.
• Nice to have: BrightCore certification or experience with data fluency tools.
