Configuration Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Configuration Engineer to help design, configure, build, and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that serve our government customers and the communities they serve. This will be a hands-on technical role that will also lead and manage a small team of no more than five developers. As a member of the engineering team, you will help maintain existing case management solution focused on the public sector communities inside the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and configuring solutions on the .NET platform leveraging C# and SQL, as well as team lead experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing complex enterprise solutions utilizing the following technologies: .NET, C#, Azure, SQL Server, Windows, Azure DevOps.
• 2+ year of team lead/people management experience.
• Experience in all application design phases including requirements definition, decomposition, design, code review, code quality, and troubleshooting issues.
• Experience delivering software products using Agile methodologies; hands-on experience leading Agile teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiencies in C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering (or equivalent).
• Workable knowledge of SQL (MySQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)).
