Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Security Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding Porch’s digital assets and reputation against security breaches, cyber-attacks, and unauthorized access. The role involves ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Porch Group Information Systems.

In Short

• Manage the Information Security Ticket Queue and investigate security alerts.
• Complete Customer Cyber Security Questionnaires.
• Conduct third-party risk management assessments.
• Maintain and execute Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing procedures.
• Develop and maintain security documentation.
• Assist with annual compliance initiatives.
• Work with security tooling such as EDR, SIEM, and email security.
• Communicate and remediate identified security findings.
• Develop and communicate security reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Security Operations or Incident Response.
• Professional certifications (Security+, CEH, CySA+) preferred.
• Proficiency in analyzing security tool findings.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Commitment to ongoing learning in cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS) desired.
• Experience with cloud security principles desired.
