Overview

Popmenu is seeking a Support Software Engineer to help maintain and enhance our innovative technology solutions, serving thousands of restaurants and their guests. As we continue to scale, this role will be instrumental in supporting our engineering efforts, improving our technical support capabilities, and ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience.

• Enhancing Software – Identify opportunities to build internal tools that improve customer support and optimize workflows.
• Supporting Engineering Partners – Serve as a key liaison between Engineering and other departments.
• Professional Growth – Work alongside and learn from senior engineers through collaboration and mentorship.
• Technical Support & Bug Fixes – Assist in diagnosing and resolving platform issues.
• Provide enhanced technical support to customers.
• Create tooling to enable Support and Customer Success teams.

• Fix bugs in the platform with support from engineering staff.

Requirements

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and React (or similar frameworks).
• Contributed to at least one professional codebase with multiple contributors.
• Strong communication skills.
