Overview

The Controller at Pompa Program is a critical finance leadership role responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance while ensuring financial accuracy and developing a high-performing accounting team.

In Short

• Lead and oversee all accounting functions including general ledger and payroll.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Establish and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Support system implementations as the company grows.
• Build and mentor a strong accounting team.
• Provide financial insight to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with audits and multi-state compliance.
• Proven ability to build scalable accounting processes.
• High attention to detail with strategic thinking.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
