Controller - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Controller who will lead the financial management function and provide executive-level insights to support business growth in a remote environment.

In Short

• Oversee all financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
• Drive system integrations and process improvements.
• Manage compliance and risk with audits and tax reporting.
• Mentor and develop finance team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail preferred.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple priorities.
