Overview

The Resource Navigator Specialist provides navigation services and support to survivors of trafficking, guiding them to the right resources and helping them access publicly available benefits while ensuring a trauma-informed approach.

In Short

• Conduct survivor intake to assess unique needs.
• Create long-term plans for accessing benefits and resources.
• Deliver public/health benefits navigation and intensive services.
• Provide career guidance and networking support.
• Assist with distributing direct cash assistance.
• Book travel accommodations for survivors.
• Maintain knowledge of human trafficking and benefits access.
• Support onboarding of new staff with training.
• Maintain partnerships with external stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three years of professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree in social work.
• Experience working with trauma survivors.
• Training in trauma-informed care or crisis response.
• Ability to create sustainable needs-based plans.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience managing budgets and projects.
