Internal Control Coordinator - GBS - Remote

Overview

The Internal Control Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing internal control processes across the EMEA region to improve corporate performance, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with SOX requirements, corporate policies, and procedures.

In Short

• Review and update SOX control documentation
• Perform testing of SOX controls
• Conduct site and process reviews to identify control gaps
• Support quarterly SOX certification process
• Assist in designing and implementing improvement action plans
• Follow up on internal control issues
• Communicate issues and improvement plans to stakeholders
• Fluency in English required
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal or external audit
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS accounting principles
• Understanding of operational and financial controls
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
