• We’re looking for a Junior Android Engineer who’s eager to grow and passionate about building user-friendly mobile experiences.
• You will help shape Plum’s Android app from the ground up.
• Opportunity to work on a live product and learn from experienced engineers.

• You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers.
• Hybrid working model with two in-office days per week.
• Comfortable with Kotlin and eager to deepen Android skills.
• Familiar with Android architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM).
• Some experience with Jetpack Compose and REST APIs is a plus.
• Flexible approach to remote working.

Requirements

• Comfortable with Kotlin and eager to deepen your Android skills.
• Familiar with Android architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM).
• Excited to collaborate with designers and build beautiful, user-friendly UIs.
• Open to feedback and naturally curious.
• Care about the why behind what you’re building.
• Some experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Exposure to DI tools and architecture components.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git, testing, or CI/CD tools.
• Interest in Agile ways of working.
