Account Executive - Government Sales - Remote

Overview

Planet is a global company that designs, builds, and operates the largest constellation of imaging satellites, delivering empirical information via a cloud-based platform to various sectors. We are looking for an Account Executive to grow our Government sales pipeline in South Korea and Taiwan.

In Short

• Responsible for growing Planet’s Government sales pipeline.
• Focus on Government Intelligence, Defense, and National Security institutions.
• Develop and manage an extensive pipeline of new sales leads.
• Collaborate with the Government Sales team and Leadership.
• Provide product and sales demonstrations to prospective customers.
• Negotiate and close large and medium-size deals.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene using Salesforce.com.
• Work closely with pre-sales and post-sales teams.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the year.
• Full-time remote position based in Singapore, Malaysia, or Australia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in geospatial software or technical sales.
• Demonstrated success with Government customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to speak Korean or Mandarin is a plus.
