AI Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role is critical to accelerating plancraft’s AI journey. You’ll work at the intersection of infrastructure, developer experience, and AI enablement – helping scale internal productivity and external product potential.

In Short

• Join a newly formed AI squad focused on AI infrastructure and enablement.
• Scope, plan, and implement cloud and AI infrastructure projects.
• Build and enhance resilient infrastructure including documentation and training.

• Work with a dedicated Tech Lead and help define technical direction.

• Fluent in English (C1/C2) is required.
• Willingness to relocate to Hamburg or work hybrid.

Requirements

• Comfortable with mentoring and advocating for a wide set of technologies.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IaC.
• Strong software engineering background, particularly in Typescript.
• AI expertise in areas such as vector search and multimodality.
• Enthusiasm for AI-enhanced engineering.
• Effective communication with business and tech stakeholders.
• Experience with SaaS/B2B products is a plus.
• Experience in product ownership or project management is a plus.
