Overview

PingWind is seeking a Software Engineer to join Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ) Agile software development team, playing a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications and products.

In Short

• Provide application and feature development leadership.
• Coordinate and lead Developers and DBAs during development.
• Conduct Agile scrum ceremonies.
• Develop reusable code for rapid development.
• Support continuous integration using Jenkins.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Document technical specifications and processes.
• Mentor developers on industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++.
• Knowledge of database systems and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
