Software Engineer (Java) - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer at Ping Identity, you will participate in developing industry-leading authorization and access control products, ensuring a seamless digital experience for users.

• Join a remote team with occasional meet-ups in Edinburgh.
• Participate in feature development from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers and UX Engineers.

• Participate in on-call support for a multi-tenant SaaS application.
• Develop high-quality, well-tested features in Java and/or React.
• Provide constructive code reviews for peers.
• Experience in building applications that support end-user workflows.
• Utilize object-oriented patterns for software development.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• Three or more years of software development experience.
• Ability to conduct code reviews.
• Experience in SaaS or on-premise software contexts.
• Experience with well-tested software development.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Unix-based environments.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
