Lead Data Engineer (Azure) - Remote

Overview

The Lead Data Engineer will support the AEC's Enterprise Integration Team by designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions across on-premises and cloud applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering, including data integration, ETL processes, and data modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
• Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and build effective working relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure tools and services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database) is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, AWS Data Analytics) are a plus.
