Overview

The Manager, Account Development is responsible for increasing market awareness, generating leads, and expanding the customer base for the Business Development Team through direct contact with prospective clients.

In Short

  • Review current account development processes and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in establishing account development production expectations aligned to corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Leadership Team for performance review and mentoring.
  • Hold weekly outreach planning calls with assigned Business Development representatives.
  • Identify potential clients using defined profiles and outreach resources.
  • Engage key stakeholders and introduce company capabilities.
  • Create improved outreach messaging based on activity data.
  • Develop and deploy territory and account strategies.
  • Initiate sales processes through effective communication.
  • Provide sales activity reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • 5+ years in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Account development and sales experience preferred.
  • Postgraduate education is a plus.
