Overview

The Sales Director – Ecommerce leads Pet-Ag’s U.S. sales execution and is responsible for driving profitable growth across all Ecommerce channels and customers.

In Short

  • Lead the Ecommerce Sales Team and oversee all ecommerce Key Accounts.
  • Develop and execute digital strategies to grow revenue and deepen customer relationships.
  • Translate enterprise commercial strategy into actionable domestic sales plans.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align strategies with company objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop region-specific plans.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Manage trade budgets and customer programs for profitable growth.
  • Represent Pet-Ag at customer meetings and industry events.
  • Ensure effective sales planning and pipeline management.
  • Participate in a bonus incentive program associated with this role.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Animal Science, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within CPG or the pet/vet industry.
  • 5+ years of work experience with Amazon and/or Chewy.
  • Strong ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to manage budgets and forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of Digital Marketing and customer activation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • High integrity, energy, and alignment with company values.
