Senior Software Architect - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll have the freedom to work independently on technically challenging projects in an innovative company within the lighting design industry. You will take full technical responsibility for key products, shaping their development with a high degree of autonomy.

In Short

• Focus 100% on programming, or split your time with 70-80% development and the rest spent on technical coordination with external consultants
• Take ownership of a key product within a small team (8-10 developers)
• Ensure high-quality code and architecture for product development, maintenance, and deployment
• Collaborate with external consultants and improve the product through rapid feedback cycles

Requirements

• C# (.NET) – 5+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code
• Experience with microservices (design, develop, deploy)
• Proficient in automated unit testing and integration testing
• Italian (C2) + English (B2) or English (C1)
• Self-driven, independent work, and decision-making
• Experience in leading coordination with external consultants is a plus
• Nice to Haves: Experience with Java
