Consulting Actuary - Analytics - Remote

Overview

The Consulting Actuary - Analytics will lead actuarial and multi-disciplinary consulting projects for insurance companies, self-insureds, program managers, and Insurtechs. Advanced statistical and machine learning knowledge required.

In Short

• Lead actuarial and multi-disciplinary consulting projects.
• Handle large datasets and develop solutions/analyses from scratch.
• Recommend solutions and/or alternatives to clients.
• Correspond directly with clients on project goals and results.
• Prepare polished, professional, clear reports to present results/information.
• Keep informed on industry trends and changes in actuarial techniques.
• 4+ years quantitative modeling experience in the Property/Casualty industry.
• Personal lines experience preferred.
• ACAS or FCAS credentials a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects with deadlines.

Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, Python, VBA, and/or other programming/data query/reporting knowledge required.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.
• Familiarity with AWS a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage the work of actuarial consultants.
