Senior Consulting Actuary - Remote

Paytient is seeking a highly motivated and experienced external-facing senior consulting actuary to join our growing team in a non-traditional actuarial role. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your actuarial expertise to not only build and maintain strong client relationships but also to actively shape the future of healthcare through developing and enhancing innovative healthcare technology solutions.

In Short

• Serve as the primary actuarial contact for assigned clients, building and nurturing strong relationships.
• Translate client needs and industry trends into innovative actuarial solutions.
• Conduct complex actuarial analyses, including pricing and risk modeling.
• Prepare and present financial models and pricing strategies to clients.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Analyze client data to assess the potential impact of Paytient’s offerings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
• Develop and share thought leadership content focusing on actuarial science and healthcare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• FSA or ASA designation required; MAAA highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare risk management and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex actuarial concepts.
• Experience working directly with health plans or insurers is a plus.
