Accident & Health Actuarial Consultant - Remote

Overview

Perr & Knight is seeking an Accident & Health Actuarial Consultant that would support a supervising Consulting Actuary in the completion of actuarial consulting projects for insurance companies and self-insured employer groups.

In Short

• Preparing product pricing, competitor research, rate filing support, and reserve analyses.
• Completing miscellaneous projects for the accident and health lines of business.
• Working closely with a supervising Consulting Actuary and other practice areas such as Product Design and State Filings.
• At least 2 years working in the Accident & Health industry.
• 1 to 3 Actuarial Exams.
• General knowledge of standard industry Accident & Health coverage types.
• BS/BA degree from an accredited university.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Access, and SQL.
• Ability to think creatively/imaginatively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the Accident & Health industry.
• Completion of 1 to 3 Actuarial Exams.
• Knowledge of Accident & Health coverage types.
• BS/BA degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SQL.
• Creative thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills.
