Cybersecurity Instructional Associate - Remote

Overview

Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to serve as a Cybersecurity Instructional Associate to join our ever-expanding organization. This person will join our Remote Technical-Instruction Training Team and be classified as a support instructor, playing an important role in training Per Scholas learners to be outstanding entry-level technicians.

In Short

• Provide effective support to the Lead Instructor and learners.
• Display knowledge in hardware, software, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in conducting technical training sessions for CompTIA Certification.
• Monitor and assist learners in virtual and physical lab environments.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and software issues.
• Grade and review labs, assessments, and assignments.
• Utilize learner management systems for monitoring performance.
• Participate in check-ins with instructors and management.
• Upskill and cross-train in various IT areas.
• Occasionally perform lead instructor duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of Per Scholas or relevant IT experience.
• Certification in Cysa+ or other cybersecurity certifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with a basic understanding of IT.
• Ability to work asynchronously and adapt to feedback.
• Team-oriented and responsible.
