Art Director - Remote

Overview

The Art Director will align a multidisciplinary team of artists and developers to craft and maintain a compelling art style that synergizes with the intended creative direction of the game and delights players.

In Short

• Supervise and maintain a cohesive art style aligned with the creative vision of the game.
• Provide clear, timely feedback to internal and external artists and vendors.
• Partner with the Technical Art Director to build and evolve efficient art pipelines.
• Act as the gatekeeper for visual quality through daily reviews.
• Mentor and develop internal and external art teams.
• Coordinate with production to ensure quality targets are met.
• Consolidate and present feedback for reviews.
• Participate actively in recruiting and evaluating new talent.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of AAA console/PC game development experience.
• Experience delivering at least one AAA title.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic creativity.
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop and solid 2D art skills.
• Proficiency with 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Illustrator).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
