Overview

As a Senior Lighting Artist at People Can Fly, you will create compelling lighting that enhances the mood and storytelling of our games, collaborating with various teams to bring dynamic environments to life.

In Short

• Create captivating lighting that sets mood and tells story.
• Support level designers with lighting to achieve their goals.
• Design and deliver light objects and IES textures.
• Create dynamic lighting to enliven environments.
• Collaborate with FX department for atmospheric 3D scenes.
• Create high-end lighting for cut-scenes.
• Innovate techniques for next-gen hardware.
• Analyze scenes for performance issues and optimize lights.
• Work with Tech/Engine department to resolve lighting issues.

Requirements

• Critical eye for environment depth from lighting perspective.
• Experience with various lighting techniques and tools.
• Understanding of performance for current console generation.
• Ability to create all necessary lighting content.
• Collaboration skills with artists and programmers.
• Experience with generating lightmaps and baked lighting.
• Follow technical news on Unreal Engine.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Passion for video games.
• Language: English.
