Technical Level Designer - Remote

Overview

The Technical Level Designer will create, implement, and maintain system design elements, tools, and workflows for the dedicated level design team at People Can Fly, a leading independent AAA game development studio.

In Short

• Create gameplay scenarios using existing tools.
• Collaborate with programmers, artists, and animators.
• Assist in prototyping and production of game features.
• Test new features and tools before deployment.
• Ensure compliance with metrics and technical standards.
• Review team blueprints for optimization and bug reduction.
• Implement user-friendly prefabs for team use.
• Act as a technical reference for level design.
• Assist with debugging and bug fixing.
• Maintain project documentation and contribute to knowledge base.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a technical level design role.
• At least one successfully shipped AAA game on PC or console.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with text-based and visual scripting systems.
• Proficient in Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
