Overview

As a Clinical Specialist, you will play an integral part in growing Penumbra's Neuro & Peripheral Vascular Solutions in Western Australia by providing specialized clinical support on Penumbra solutions across both peripheral and neuro vascular cases.

In Short

  • Provide on-site support during mechanical thrombectomy and other vascular procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals on best practices.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to enhance procedural workflows.
  • Serve as a technical expert on thrombectomy devices and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and competitive innovations.
  • Collect and analyze procedural data for quality improvement.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare providers for seamless coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales expenses and customer files.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nursing, Allied Health, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of neuro and vascular anatomy and thrombectomy devices.
  • Experience in a clinical specialty, such as Registered Nurse or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
