Resident Accounts Manager - Remote

Overview

The Resident Accounts Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations and financial functions of a portfolio of properties. This remote position centralizes rent collection, delinquency efforts, and scheduled billing responsibilities to optimize revenue for each property. This position also provides resident support through customer care and reputation management.

In Short

• Collect and post rent in a timely manner
• Execute collections strategies to keep delinquency below 1%
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt using AI tools
• Preparation of notices and filing evictions electronically
• Manage Leap program and complete checklists
• Handle customer care issues and online reviews
• Participate in meetings with Regional and Property Managers
• Provide timely responses to inquiries
• Work with collections agency(s)
• Manage in-house collections

Requirements

• Experience in Assistant Manager or Bookkeeper role in property management
• Proficient in Entrata and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
• Experience in collecting delinquent rent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Above average negotiating skills
• Ability to handle customer issues to completion
• A high school diploma or equivalent
