Overview

The Member Support Specialist will be primarily responsible for providing support to our members, resolving their questions and complaints with the highest level of courtesy, urgency, and efficiency.

  • Address member inquiries professionally to build positive relationships.
  • Resolve issues efficiently to contribute to the company’s bottom line.
  • Monitor email queue and handle member inquiries.
  • Follow up on member inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work on special short-term projects for customized support.
  • Stay updated on product and program knowledge.
  • Handle confidential customer information with integrity.
  • Thrive as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track and report systemic issues to management.
  • Participate in additional training courses as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk/call center environment preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Highest sense of integrity and discretion required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and use knowledge appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Technically literate with analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and good typing skills (min. 40 wpm).
  • Positive, professional, and customer-focused manner.
