Overview

PayNearMe is seeking a talented and experienced Application Security Engineer to enhance application security through code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and collaboration with development teams.

In Short

• Conduct security code reviews for all software releases.
• Identify and assess vulnerabilities in GO code.
• Collaborate with development teams on security best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation on security processes.
• Utilize SAST and DAST scanning in CI pipelines.
• Manage security architecture for API solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in application analysis and security code reviews.
• 2 years of experience with QA software testing processes.
• Solid understanding of application security principles.
• Proficiency in GO and familiarity with frameworks like Rails or React.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with security standards such as PCI and NIST.
