Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Financial Analyst to be responsible for critical revenue, pricing and COGS functions across our organization. This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency around internal controls through the calculation of residual payments, auditing of client accounts, revenue and cost assurance.

In Short

• Calculate and validate monthly residual payments to agents, partners, and stakeholders.
• Analyze residual payment trends to provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Act as a point of contact for agents and partners regarding residual-related inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve the residual payment process.
• Ensure alignment between contractual terms and billed amounts.
• Conduct regular audits of customer accounts.
• Conduct in-depth profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for billing accuracy.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract actionable insights from data.
• Continuously evaluate emerging BI, AI and analytics technologies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, VBA, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Redshift.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.
• Payment processing experience is preferred.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of industry trends and business risk factors.
