The Senior Software Engineer at Patterson will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance functionality and performance.

In Short

Define and document software objectives and specifications.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on software development.
Research and fulfill requirements of internal and external users.
Perform software testing and debugging.
Participate in project planning and implementation.
Mentor peers on engineering best practices.
Provide software support for bugs and issues.
Recommend new technologies and best practices.
Participate in regulatory and compliance activities.
Work remotely with periodic travel required.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software development experience.
Extensive experience in Angular, TypeScript, CSS, HTML.
Experience with Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud technologies.
Familiarity with container frameworks like Docker.
Knowledge of application development and product life cycles.
Fluency in object-oriented programming.
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues.
Experience with cloud-hosted applications.
Strong diagramming and design skills preferred.
