Strategy Advisor / vCISO (Unit 42) - Remote

Overview

The Strategy Advisor / vCISO will champion and operationalize cybersecurity best practices across key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing strategy to enhance security postures.

• Serve as a trusted security advisor to client stakeholders.
• Develop deep, trusted relationships across client organizations.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to client security teams.
• Lead security risk reviews and develop cybersecurity roadmaps.
• Engage with C-level executives and deliver impactful presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of security policies and technology developments.
• Support executive engagement across client base.
• Champion security best practices and drive adoption of solutions.
• Track and manage remediation of security audit findings.
• Represent Unit 42 at external events and conferences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience as an in-house CISO or vCISO.
• Strong experience in implementing security controls.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in multi-provider, multi-year programmes.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM are highly desired.
• Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred.
• Ability to engage with C-level executives effectively.
