Principal Architect, Cortex - Remote

Overview

As a Principal Architect at Palo Alto Networks, you will be responsible for improving the productivity of our sales teams through the creation and delivery of business-relevant security conversations to our key prospects and customers.

In Short

• Lead and direct cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product and service delivery.
• Engage with key contacts at strategic customers to transform their security strategy.
• Provide insights on risk reduction, compliance, and governance.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with customers.
• Work with sales teams on strategic opportunities.
• Deliver targeted CXO-level Threat and Risk Management Briefings.
• Engage in continuous self-improvement and learning.
• Communicate technological/business value gaps to the sales organization.
• Collaborate with Product Management to improve product offerings.
• Travel a minimum of 50% of the time for customer engagements.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of security operations and architectures.
• Experience with SIEM, Log Management, and security investigation tools.
• Demonstrable senior-level experience in IT vendor pre-sales or post-sales roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in German and advanced English.
• Self-motivated with a strong problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide quick resolutions.
• Super organizational skills.
• Experience working with channel partners is preferred.
• End customer background is a plus.
