Overview

The Field Service Technician role at Palmetto focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving system performance issues efficiently and professionally, while supporting various service-related tasks throughout the lifespan of solar systems.

In Short

• Provide onsite troubleshooting and repair of solar systems.
• Document visits and complete job closeout reports.
• Schedule site visits directly with customers.
• Work with local teams to optimize resolution times.
• Assist with pre-energization issues for customer projects.
• Provide feedback to improve installation quality.
• Complete physical site surveys and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners regarding service schedules.
• Maintain service work SLAs.
• Perform safety and quality audits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with residential solar systems.
• Electrical License preferred (only required in MA).
• General knowledge of home maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in extreme environments.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work on rooftops.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
