Overview

As a Content Engineer in the Game Development & Embedded Systems vertical, you will co-own products from concept to publication, ensuring they are technically robust, clear, and commercially relevant.

• Guide authors from outline to final draft.
• Perform substantive developmental edits across various product types.
• Evaluate content against user insights and competitive benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Growth Leads and Relationship Leads.
• Build knowledge of relevant engines and technology stacks.
• Track emerging trends and feed insights into product design.
• Engage with users, reviewers, and communities.
• Support non-book formats with editorial and quality oversight.
• Balance speed and quality in editorial decisions.
• Adapt to evolving product types and formats.

Requirements

• Substantive/developmental editing experience.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts.
• Excellent English-language proficiency.
• Experience managing author/SME relationships.
• Technical confidence and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Curiosity about Game Development and Embedded Systems.
• Adaptability to work on various content formats.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Experience with live/derived content formats is a plus.
