EMO Health, also known as End Mass Overdose Inc., is a nonprofit organization founded in 2015 by a female Navy Veteran. The organization focuses on providing innovative solutions to improve medication usage and health outcomes by leveraging pharmacists as drug experts and educators. EMO Health gained national recognition for its pioneering medication model of care in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, which is currently funded by the CDC. Today, EMO Health offers medication management and training services to over 500 substance use disorder programs, serving more than 5,800 patients in Massachusetts. The organization is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
