Overview

The Risk Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring transactions, managing disputes, and enhancing the processes that support Owner's payments platform for independent restaurants.

In Short

• Execute daily risk operations workflows including merchant underwriting and transaction monitoring.
• Work hands-on with Stripe Radar for fraud detection and management.
• Monitor payout operations for exceptions and anomalies.
• Respond to disputes and chargebacks while maintaining an evidence library.
• Track and report on key risk metrics.
• Document and improve risk playbooks.
• Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in risk or fraud operations.
• Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring or fraud tooling platforms.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity.
• Bonus: experience with restaurant payments and KYB/KYC concepts.
