On-Call Permanency Specialist - Remote

Overview

The On-Call OCOK Permanency Specialist provides support for day staff involved in permanency planning and placement for abused and neglected children, responding quickly to urgent situations that arise after normal business hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in social services.
• Two years of experience in social/human services.
• Knowledge of child placement practices.
• Strong documentation and case management skills.
• Ability to assess child needs and safety.
• Understanding of the intersection between race and poverty.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and manage caseloads.
• Skills in developing professional relationships.
• Ability to negotiate services and access resources.
• Ability to travel as needed.
