Otto Aviation is seeking an Engineer I, Non-Metallic Materials and Processes to be a member of our team. The ideal candidate has an interest in materials and processes and a willingness to learn. You will join a team developing the world’s most efficient aircraft.

In Short

• Provide guidance on non-metallic materials and processes.
• Support the Stress team with non-metallic properties.
• Evaluate new materials and processes.
• Author specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Support multi-disciplinary configuration development.
• Review engineering definitions for product lifecycle.

Requirements

• B.S. in Material Science, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of non-metallic materials and processes.
• Knowledge of polymer matrix composites and structural bonding.
